Hi everyone! My name is Kelly! I am seeking a certification/master's degree in Secondary Education for General Science from the University of Connecticut through the TCPCG Program. I am 25 years old and I am originally from North Carolina. I have been out of school for 2.5 years and have been working for the Outpatient Laboratory for Hartford Hospital as a Medical Technician. I have never blogged before but have followed people's blogs when they are studying abroad.
I LOVE SPORTS! I did a ton of sports when I was little and I still swim on a Master's Swim Team through Wesleyan University and also have played Adult Co-Rec Soccer recently. I compete in Half-Marathon's and 5K's often, so if anyone needs a running buddy I am always here to help :) I am a huge football fan so if anyone wants to do Fantasy Football in the Fall, you know who to look at. In the winter you can find me at a mountain shedding up the snow on my skis too. I was on the Varsity Rowing Team at UConn as an Undergrad. I also enjoy cooking and listening to music when I have time. I am the person that token friend who always has the camera out ready to capture photos. I love animals, especially dogs. I love my parents Chocolate Lab Molly and can't wait to get a dog of my own.
I am really excited about this new chapter in my life and meeting all of my classmates. It is scary and overwhelming at times but I know that we are all going to be able to get through it together.
